Schedule and Contents

Day 1: Kuala Lumpur City Tour & Welcome Dinner
Start your adventure by exploring the vibrant city of Kuala Lumpur! Join a guided city tour led by locals and expats who will introduce you to hidden gems and must-see landmarks from an insider’s perspective. End the day with a group local dining experience followed by a visit to a stunning rooftop bar offering spectacular views of the iconic Petronas Towers.

Day 2-3: Kuala Kubu Bharu Jungle Retreat
Escape the city and immerse yourself in nature at Kuala Kubu Bharu (KKB), located about an hour north of Kuala Lumpur. Stay in cozy cottages and participate in exciting activities such as rafting, zip-lining, and soaking in natural hot springs. It’s the perfect opportunity to recharge and connect with fellow participants.

Day 4-7: Coworking Space Tour & Side Events
Discover the coworking culture of Kuala Lumpur as we tour a different coworking space each day, providing an ideal setup for your remote work needs. In the evenings, enjoy dinners at local restaurants near the coworking spaces, offering a taste of Malaysia’s culinary diversity. Side events will provide opportunities for networking and deeper connections.

Day 8: Workshop
As the day before the conference, most of the organizing team will be focused on venue preparations. For attendees, we plan to offer workshops designed to enrich your experience. While the exact details are still being finalized, we are considering sessions that either delve into practical skills for digital nomads or provide an opportunity to explore and learn about Malaysia’s traditional culture. This is a perfect chance to engage in smaller, focused groups ahead of the main event.

Day 9: Conference & After Party
Cap off the event with a full day of inspiring talks and panel discussions led by international and local experts. Topics will include finding remote work opportunities, balancing work and travel, planning your remote work lifestyle, and exploring the best destinations for digital nomads. Celebrate the end of the conference with an exciting after-party to reflect on the journey and forge lasting connections.
